สรรพคุณ : ยาระบาย บรรเทาอาการท้องผูก มะขามแขกมีฤทธิ์เป็นยาถ่าย สารสำคัญที่ออกฤทธิ์ คือ sennoside A และ B, aloe emodin, dianthrone glycoside ซึ่งเป็นanthraquinone glycoside สาร anthraquinone glycoside จะยังไม่มีฤทธิ์เพิ่มการขับถ่ายเมื่อผ่านลำไส้เล็ก แต่เมื่อผ่านเข้าไปในลำไส้ใหญ่ sennoside A จะถูกเปลี่ยนเป็น sennoside A-8-monoglucoside และถูกเปลี่ยนแปลงต่อโดยเอนไซม์ bata-glycosidase จากแบคทีเรียในลำไส้ใหญ่และอุจจาระ ได้แก่ Bacillus, E. Coli ได้เป็น sennidin A ส่วน sennoside B ก็จะถูกเปลี่ยนแปลงด้วยกระบวนการเดียวกันได้เป็น sennidin B ทั้ง sennidin A และ B จะเปลี่ยนกลับไปกลับมาได้ และถูกเปลี่ยนต่อไปเป็น rheinanthrone ซึ่งออกฤทธิ์ต่อลำไส้ใหญ่ โดยตรง สารสำคัญนี้จะกระตุ้นกลุ่มเซลล์ประสาท ทำให้เกิดการบีบตัวของลำไส้ ส่วนประกอบ :ใบมะขามแขก 400 mg วิธีใช้ : รับประทานครั้งละ 2 แคปซูล วันละ 1 ครั้ง ก่อนนอน เมื่อมีอาการท้องผูก ขนาดบรรจุ : 100 แคปซูล ๆ ละ 400 มก. ทะเบียนเลขที่ G 23/41    |
